Beaches of South Walton, located in the heart of Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, has 26 miles of sugar-white sand nestled against emerald green waters. The area’s 15 unique beach communities, including Sandestin, Seaside and Grayton Beach, are renowned for their luxury accommodations from full-service resorts to quaint beach cottages, challenging golf, eclectic shops, funky art galleries, and award-winning dining. The area is home to 207 holes of the Gulf’s top-rated, professionally designed courses. More than 40 percent of Beaches of South Walton is preserved with state parks. Hiking, biking, kayaking and fishing are popular pastimes.
Traveling is convenient with three airports located nearby: Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP – located in Panama City) Northwest Florida Regional (VPS – located in Ft. Walton Beach), and Pensacola Regional (PNS), with direct flights serving many major cities. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City opened May 23, 2010 and has non-stop services to and from Baltimore/Washington, Houston Hobby, Nashville, Orlando, and connecting service from other Southwest Airline markets.
