Pensacola Bay Area CVB - Pensacola, Florida

Pensacola, Florida always greets visitors with a warm welcome. With year-round culture, outdoor activities, thrilling attractions, quality museums and 52 miles of sandy beaches, Pensacola is a dream vacation destination.

Pensacola has a strong connection to its heritage and past treasures, as it was North America's First European Settlement. From May 2008 to August 2009, the community will celebrate for 450 days to commemorate its founding 450 years ago. Visitors can take part in the celebration in various tours, historical reenactments, festivals and parades.

Visitors to Downtown Pensacola don’t want to miss outstanding cuisine from award-winning restaurants, unique art and jewelry from local shops and galleries, hands-on historic sites, or the many festivals throughout the year celebrating everything form music and food to arts and Mardi Gras.

Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key are part of Gulf Islands National Seashore, the largest tract of protected seashore in the country. Visitors enjoy the outdoors while fishing, golfing, scuba diving or boating, or just taking in the magnificent scenery.
