DeSoto Caverns Park
Desoto Caverns offers history, science, excitement and most importantly, fun! At the Desoto Caverns Park, take personal guided tours through a 12-story cavern full of stalactites and stalagmites, witness an Indian habitat and burial ground that are over 2,000 years old and a Confederacy gunpowder mine. Lastly, every Alabama Desoto Cavern tour ends with a Light and Water show!
Over 20 family attractions can be found at the park outside the Desoto Caverns that includes Paddle bumper boats, mini-golf (where players will have to get around water obstacles), the Lickitysplit (a merry-go-round that tilts at a 45 degree angle in the air), and the Fossil Find (a gigantic sand box waiting for children to uncover prehistoric fossils). With so much to do, there's never a dull moment at Alabama Desoto Caverns.
