Huntsville Botanical Garden
The Huntsville Botanical Garden in Alabama fills 112 acres with year-round gardening delights. No matter what time of year it is, visitors will find plenty to appreciate as they browse through the different gardens at the Huntsville Botanical Garden. The Daylily Garden showcases more than 675 cultivars of daylilies, while the Fern Glade displays 170 species of ferns along with a waterfall, pond and gazebo. The Nature Trail & Wildflower Garden at the Huntsville Botanical Garden in Alabama provides footpaths leading through a lowland forest filled with black gum, sweet gum, sycamore and red maple trees.
The Huntsville Botanical Garden is also home to a herb garden, an aquatic garden, a demonstration vegetable garden, a Garden Railway that features a miniature European village and model trains, and a seasonal Butterfly House that hosts butterflies at all stages of life.
Each year, the Huntsville Botanical Garden in Alabama offers a number of special events, among them the Spring Festival of Flowers, the Scarecrow Trail and a holiday Galaxy of Lights. Educational programs and workshops at the Huntsville Botanical Garden focus on such topics as the basics of beekeeping, an introduction to birding, or the how-to's of pruning trees and shrubs.
The Huntsville Botanical Garden is also available for weddings, cocktail parties, meetings and other special occasions.
