Talladega Superspeedway
Why not speed on to the Talladega Superspeedway to be apart of exciting racing events! The Talladega Superspeedway track has daily van tours during business hours (not during event weeks) and is right next door to the famous International Motorsports Hall of Fame.
In the Spring of 2006, get ready for the Aaron’s Dream Weekend scheduled for April 28-30. Events held on Friday, April 28, will feature two NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series practices and The Birmingham News Qualifying for the NASCAR Busch Series. The following day, Saturday, April 29 will feature The Birmingham News Qualifying for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and the Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Busch Series race. Finally, Sunday, April 30 will feature the Aaron’s 499 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race.
Other Upcoming races in Fall 2006 at the Talladega Superspeedway are during the early days of October. The UAW-Ford 500 event weekend will be held October 6-8. Kicking off on Friday, October 6, will feature NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying, two NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series practices and the ARCA RE/MAX Series race. The following day, Saturday, October 7, will feature Discount Food Mart Qualifying for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series and the inaugural NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Finally, Sunday, October 8 will feature the UAW-Ford 500 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series event, race four in the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup - an entire weekend of roaring engines! With records established in both speed and competition, the Talladega Superspeedway is an arena to attend racing events and witness great American racing.
