Oak Alley Plantation

Historical Oak Alley Plantation is located on the Mississippi River between Orleans and Baton Rouge. Giant and ancient oak trees form an impressive avenue leading to the classic Greek-style antebellum home that was built back in 1839. Today, the Oak Alley Plantation offers daily-guided tours through the plantation's elegant and pristine rooms.

For those wanting to stay a night at Oak Alley Plantation, bed & breakfast accommodations in classic 19th-century cottages are featured. A Cajun/Creole restaurant at the Oak Alley Plantation serves up favorite local dishes and the café/ice cream parlor delivers treats such as espressos, sandwiches, salads, sweets and more.

The plantation is a spectacular, ideal setting for weddings, parties and other private functions. Visiting the Oak Alley Plantation should be on everyone's list of places to visit list while in Louisiana.
