Rock Hill / York County CVB - Rock Hill, SC

Situated in the heart of the Carolinas, on the border of North and South Carolina, York County offers visitors a welcome experience. Home of the Catawba Indian Nation, York County is home to the only federally recognized American Indian tribe in SC.

York County is ideally located in the Carolina Piedmont and easily accessible via Interstates 77 and 85. York County is part of the Olde English District, one of ten tourism regions in South Carolina. Named for the English settlement in the mid-1700s as well as the Revolutionary War battles fought here, this seven-county region is deeply rooted in English traditions.

Immigrants from Northern Ireland moved to York County. A sister-city project has been established with the town of Larne to understand and build on the culture and history that we share.
