Welcome to the West Metro area of South Carolina, which includes Cayce, Gaston, Pine Ridge, South Congeree, Springdale, Swansea, and West Columbia. Our local folks are famous for saying, "We have no strangers here-just new friends".

The West Metro Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, established in 2003, has worked to help stimulate the economic and cultural environments by promoting travel and tourism in the West Metro area.
Plentiful and affordable housing, award winning schools, a strong economy (with the lowest and most stable unemployment rate in the state), premier healthcare, easy access transportation, rich cultural experiences, strong churches, and recreational wonderland, all with an average of 226 days of sunshine and an average temperature of 67-who wouldn't want visit or, perhaps, even to call this home.
