Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival
November 7 - November 8
The Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival is the largest arts festival in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast which brings in over 400 artists, crafters, and food vendors from all across the country. The festival was created to honor master potter, Peter Anderson, original potter of Shearwater Pottery, founded in 1928, and to celebrate the arts community. With over 100,000 visitors each year, the festival aids in the economic development and growth of what has become Ocean Springs today. The footprint of the festival lies within the downtown area of the city, providing support to not only the vendors who attend the festival but the locally owned businesses within the festival layout as well.
