Ruston Peach Cobbler
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups milk or buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cups sugar or brown sugar
- 6 cups Ruston peaches, peeled and sliced
- 2 sticks butter, cut in small pieces
- whipped cream or ice cream for serving
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix flour, milk, sugar. Add peaches and butter. Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake until top turns golden brown, about 30 minutes. Cool and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
