Holiday ‘cheers’ in Kentucky

Bourbon is more than a drink; it’s the taste of Kentucky. Whether you’re new to bourbon or an expert, whether you prefer your bourbon on the rocks or mixed, whether you want to eat your way through Bourbon Country or hit all the stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail — there is a bourbon experience waiting for you in Kentucky!

Take a classic distillery tour, visit a distillery restaurant, head to one of the many festivals or take a bourbon 101 class. If you need a little outdoor adventure, you can even run the 200-mile relay Bourbon Chase or cycle along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

Experience Northern Kentucky’s B-line or visit smaller distilleries along Kentucky’s Craft Distillery Trail and then relax over dinner while enjoying bourbon-infused dishes. Mix up the hottest new cocktails or tried-and-true favorites like the Old Fashioned, invented in Louisville. Celebrate the history and heritage of this famous spirit each year with fun events, world-class concerts and even its own festival (Bardstown’s 30th annual Kentucky Bourbon Festival) during September’s National Bourbon Heritage month.

Today, you too can create your own unique bourbon experience through the rich culture of Kentucky Bourbon Country; hit the high points and sample the best Kentucky Bourbon at your favorite distillery.
