Making connections

Have you ever wondered how the tourism professionals from across the Southeast create all those vacation-worthy experiences? One way is when they come together each year for Connections, the Southeast Tourism Society’s annual conference, where they share their industry insights.

This year, Connections will be held Feb. 10-12 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Attendees will include tourism experts, visionaries and curators from 14 states who will participate in sessions that inspire memory-making moments, best marketing practices for promoting destinations we love or have yet to discover, travel research and so much more.

Beyond educational sessions, attendees will have plenty of opportunities to network and explore Little Rock, including a trolley tour of artwork on display throughout Little Rock’s downtown and along the Arkansas River as well as an opening night event at the William J. Clinton Library.
